Hi! I’m Margaret, an independent hairstylist working at Van Hair Collective in the East Village of Des Moines, IA. I have been a hairstylist for 14 years. My passion is to always elevate myself and continue to learn and hone into my craft. My favorite hair to do behind the chair: razor haircutting, balayage, reds, rich lived-in color, low maintenance hair, and embracing your natural texture all while learning to love it. I book appointments a little differently by booking by the hour instead of individual services. These hours are all-inclusive and completely customizable to you. It is flat rate pricing, you choose how much you want to invest in your hair. No add-ons, no surprises, gender-free and tip free. When I’m not behind the chair you can find me hanging out with my husband Luke and our furry boys Rizzo and Dave. There is a good chance you’ll find us at a brewery or at one of our favorite local restaurants. When I’m not out galavanting around you can find me enjoying the quiet and catching up on the latest BRAVO shows.Business Hours
